AI providing collaboration and innovation time

Reading the McKinsey & Company quarterly report, it states that up to 30% of business activities may be automated with #AI by 2030! 

It goes on to say that employees may have half their working day free in which to complete other tasks, especially collaboration and innovation.

For some this may be uncomfortable reading, but think of the leaps businesses can make with employees collaborating and innovating. That is, of course, if businesses keep their employees and don't think cost savings!

However, with the advert of Gen AI, businesses will need to evaluate risks and deploy mitigations to counter issues around data security, intellectual property and reliability.

The articles within the McKinsey report are really interesting and many relate to safeguards that need to be employed. Most of these are sensible check points that many companies would employ regardless.

In terms of #ISO #standards, the AI standard (#ISO42001) is in place and provides businesses with exactly this kind of framework.

The AI standard provides businesses with the same opportunity, while ensuring that their AI is used safely and responsibly.
